Peru tours that delve deeper

I have never done a trip with a tour group before and I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I had imagined long white buses full of people taking terrible pictures out of windows. I loved that we were a small group, could decide where to go, where to stop, where to eat, etc. This is definitely the way to do it because the trip was more meaningful and personalised and we got to know each other and were able to spend more time with Aldo asking questions and telling stories.

A very well organised tour using professional, caring guides that had a great grasp of the local culture and history, leaving us with lasting knowledge and memories. Sally was outstanding in organisation and care - I'm sure we couldn't have had a better guide! We had a wonderful adventure and enjoyed the culture and countryside of Peru - awesome!

Biking in the Andes caused my heart to fly. Putting into words the magic of this trip is a challenge. The bike riding and the scenery were amazing (and I live 30 minutes from the Rockies in CO!). The magic goes deeper--- I learned about the local population, the Inca history, the natural world, the foods and more from our incredible guide, Luis. The other guides and staff were also amazing: Will, Josh, Walter, Ruben, Johan, Abraham....they all felt like family; we could joke them and totally trusted them.

I thought that the care and consideration taken by the guides was excellent. Also the depth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm of the guides was great. I found the people warm and friendly, and loved being part of the community in the home stays, and I loved learning about the history and culture.. The itinerary was excellent and was kept to plan throughout the trip.
