Peru tours that delve deeper

The scenery was stunning and the places we visited exceeded my expectations. The staff and guides from Aspiring Adventures were First Class, making our trip to South America a wonderful experience full of culture and history.

I had a wonderful time in Peru with Aspiring Adventures. We traveled from high in the Andes to close to sea level in the Amazon rainforest. The cultural experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. My eyes were opened to a people and culture I never knew existed. I recommend this trip to anyone who really wants to experience an adventure.

Biking in the Andes caused my heart to fly. Putting into words the magic of this trip is a challenge. The bike riding and the scenery were amazing (and I live 30 minutes from the Rockies in CO!). The magic goes deeper--- I learned about the local population, the Inca history, the natural world, the foods and more from our incredible guide, Luis. The other guides and staff were also amazing: Will, Josh, Walter, Ruben, Johan, Abraham....they all felt like family; we could joke them and totally trusted them.

When we found a cheap flight to Peru, we pretty much only knew Machu Pichu was there and were pretty clueless about everything else. Aspiring Adventures asked thoughtful questions about what we like and put together an amazing itinerary that we loved. The food and locations they chose were great, and whenever we needed advice, they helped us figure out exactly what we needed, whether it was the right restaurant, how to find a real pure alpaca hat, or the history behind an architectural feature, they always knew. I'm so glad they were the ones teaching us more about their beautiful country.
