Peru tours that delve deeper

What was the highlight? Before I went I was sure it would be the land diving. Now I would have to say, hiking up an active volcano and looking down into it! That was simply incredible! Staying on Hideaway Island was another of my favourite parts… and the kayaking, and snorkeling, and the sunrises and sunsets. Every day was different and every day was a highlight. It was the best organized tour I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on quite a few.

When we found a cheap flight to Peru, we pretty much only knew Machu Pichu was there and were pretty clueless about everything else. Aspiring Adventures asked thoughtful questions about what we like and put together an amazing itinerary that we loved. The food and locations they chose were great, and whenever we needed advice, they helped us figure out exactly what we needed, whether it was the right restaurant, how to find a real pure alpaca hat, or the history behind an architectural feature, they always knew. I'm so glad they were the ones teaching us more about their beautiful country.

It was all fantastic - we loved it. Naty was just amazing. Aspiring Adventures know their stuff. The private family tour we took recently is a highlight in our family's holiday history! I have never done a trip with a tour group before and I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I had imagined long white buses full of people taking terrible pictures out of windows. I loved that we were a small group, could decide where to go, where to stop, where to eat, etc. This is definitely the way to do it because the trip was more meaningful and personalised and we got to know each other and were able to spend more time with Aldo asking questions and telling stories.
