Peru tours that delve deeper

I really appreciated the personal service Katy and her team rendered. They were always responsive with advice, useful information and good humor and made me feel assured I was in good hands. Our guide Abel taught us new biking skills, and gave us new confidence handling the different terrains in Peru. We enjoyed magnificent scenery, met the locals, had great company and shared lots of laughs. Thank you, Aspiring Adventures, for a very memorable time.

What was the highlight? Before I went I was sure it would be the land diving. Now I would have to say, hiking up an active volcano and looking down into it! That was simply incredible! Staying on Hideaway Island was another of my favourite parts… and the kayaking, and snorkeling, and the sunrises and sunsets. Every day was different and every day was a highlight. It was the best organized tour I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on quite a few.

Weeks later we can't stop reminiscing about life in the tent city at Quyllur Rit'i and the activities that went on around us. This tour was much more than going from site to site. It gave us insight into what we humans are capable of and where we come from.

Wilhen and Luis were both incredible! Easily made the trip infinitely better! Wilhen's knowledge of biking and the trails along with Luis's knowledge of all the history and sites was perfect. Their synergy and camaraderie made it feel like we were on a trip with friends and not just a guided tour as clients. In the end I feel like not only did I have a great adventure with the biking/camping, but I also received an invaluable lesson on Peru's culture/ history that I would never have had without them. I cannot say enough good things about them.
