Peru tours that delve deeper

I have never done a trip with a tour group before and I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I had imagined long white buses full of people taking terrible pictures out of windows. I loved that we were a small group, could decide where to go, where to stop, where to eat, etc. This is definitely the way to do it because the trip was more meaningful and personalised and we got to know each other and were able to spend more time with Aldo asking questions and telling stories.

Our group of international trekking friends booked a private trip with Aspiring Adventures to trek the Torres del Paine Grand Traverse and kayak in glacial waters on the Serrano River in southern Chile. We had an outstanding and memorable experience. This trip was fantastic and Aspiring Adventures did a wonderful job of planning and executing. We are already arranging our next Peru (or maybe New Zealand) trekking trip with AA.

Biking in the Andes caused my heart to fly. Putting into words the magic of this trip is a challenge. The bike riding and the scenery were amazing (and I live 30 minutes from the Rockies in CO!). The magic goes deeper--- I learned about the local population, the Inca history, the natural world, the foods and more from our incredible guide, Luis. The other guides and staff were also amazing: Will, Josh, Walter, Ruben, Johan, Abraham....they all felt like family; we could joke them and totally trusted them.

Went on a mountain biking ride with these guys today. Fan-bloody-tastic!
The guys running the show were brilliant, their advice was spot on and they know how to ride. Brilliant trail and they choose to suit your level. Views you'll never get to see.
You're in Cusco, you ride a bike, then you call these guys! Forget buying that llama jumper, live a bit.
